Top Gun Flight School

At iParaglide Top Gun Flight School, we take pride in having taught over 2,000 paragliding students in our 27 years of operation.

 

We are the longest running school based in Metro Vancouver. Due to our central location, we are the only school that flies all of the relevant kiting parks, training hills and mountains within a 3 hour radius of Vancouver.  This empowers pilots to get to know the key training and flying spots early, optimizes and accelerates learning, and allows them to grow into great future pilots.  

We have the reputation of being an industry leader with an emphasis on engineered safety systems, quality instruction, the finest equipment and creating a positive learning environment for fun and empowering flying.

We offer the highest level of accreditation, with Senior HPAC and Advanced USHPA paragliding instructors, who coach from first flight to expert paraglider pilots and teach and qualify new paragliding instructors.

iParaglide Right Site paragliding weather, based on 09:00 forecasts. High pressure brings clear skies. Vancouver paragliding: winds aloft@3000ft light and variable through 23:00 with valley winds W to 10 km/hr. Seattle paragliding: winds aloft@3000ft NE to 8 km/hr through 22:00 with valley winds W to NW to 10 km/hr. Good day for paragliding. 

iParaglide Right Site Ranking:

1. Paragliding Bellingham: lapse -1.3: novice. Blanchard: Novice paraglider pilots 10:00-18:00. Chances 90/10.

2. Paragliding Pemberton: lapse -2.0: novice. P2 novice paragliding 10:00-18:00. Chances 80/20. 

3. Paragliding Whistler: lapse -2.2: novice. Whistler team advanced P4 paraglider pilots only. Chances 80/20.

4. Paragliding Vancouver: lapse -2.0: novice. Grouse Mountain Flying Team only, advanced P4 paraglider pilots. Chances 80/20.

5. Paragliding Seattle: lapse -1.6: novice. Novice paragliding 11:00-18:00. Chances 80/20.  

6. Chilliwack Paragliding: lapse -2.5C/1000ft: intermediate.  Wait for outflow to subside, watch Hope outflow. P2 paragliding conditions most of day with possible P3 intermediate conditions at peak. Chances 70/30.
