COVID19 SPECIAL PILOTS ADVISORY NOTE. We recommend all paraglider pilots follow the recommendations of scientists, health officials, and provincial/state and federal authorities regarding maintaining social distancing. It is the best means to slow the spread of the virus, flatten the propagation curve, and eventually lead to reduced transmission and infection and thereby the quickest return to normalcy. In BC, we have already started to see a flattening of the curve due to people embracing these prudent measures.
Many parks which contain the best training hills and kiting locations have been closed, including Diefenbaker Park.
iParaglide is recommending a "no fly" until further notice.
