At iParaglide Top Gun Flight School, we take pride in having taught over 2,000 paragliding students in our 27 years of operation.

Vancouver, Chilliwack, Bellingham, Seattle, Whistler & Pemberton area paragliding weather forecast based on data available at 0500.

Low to NW bringing passing fronts with mostly cloudy skies, to scattered showers, to heavy rain, to over development, to thunder showers throughout in Vancouver, Whistler, Pemberton, Chilliwack and Seattle.

YVR 3000 ft winds aloft W to 13 km/hr throughout the day. Valley wind early outflow to 10km/hr becoming SW to 15km/hr mid afternoon. Advanced peak lapse rate -2.8C/1000ft.

SEA 3000 ft winds aloft SW and increasing to 17 km/hr. Valley wind light and variable becoming SW to 10 km/hr. Advanced peak lapse rate -2.8C/1000ft.

iParaglide Right Site Ranking:

Paragliding not recommended in Vancouver, Whistler, Pemberton, Chilliwack and Seattle today due to unstable conditions with 40-70% POP and scattered showers to heavy rain with potential over development to thunder showers. PILOTS ADVISORY: paragliding not recommended in these locations today.

Paragliding Bellingham: -2.8C/1000ft advanced peak lapse rate. Blanchard with low altitude summit and proximity to ocean should dampen effect of lapse rate considerably. Also not trapped in a valley, wicking and or socking in the clouds. Bellingham not calling for thunder showers and web cam showing clearer skies. Blanchard Mountain for P4 advanced pilots 1000-1900, watch for strong or possible over developing conditions after 1400. Chances to paraglide 50%.
