At iParaglide Top Gun Flight School, we take pride in having taught over 2,000 paragliding students in our 27 years of operation.

Paragliding Weather forecast for Vancouver, Chilliwack, Bellingham, Seattle, Whistler & Pemberton areas, based on data available at 0500.

High pressure brings sunny skies and light winds throughout.

YVR 3000 ft winds aloft NE to 9 km/hr easing to light and variable. Valley flow light east outflow to 5 km/hr becoming inflow to 5 km/hr by mid day. Novice peak lapse rate -2.2C/1000ft.

SEA 3000 ft winds aloft NE and increasing and becoming E to 19 km/hr. Valley winds NNW to 15 km/hr. Novice peak lapse rate -2.1C/1000ft.

1. Paragliding Pemberton: -2.4C/1000ft intermediate peak lapse rate. Watch the first day of the paragliding nationals in Pemberton! Pemberton with light NW wind aloft becoming light and variable by mid-day allowing for easy XC in any direction. Smooth and easy thermal lift. Mt. McKenzie with P2 conditions 0900-1400 and 1800-2000 with P3 intermediate conditions at peak 1400-1800. 90% chances to paraglide.

2. Paragliding Chilliwack: -2.8C/1000ft advanced peak lapse rate. Woodside for novice P2 pilots 0800-1200 and 1800-2000 with conditions increasing to advanced P4 conditions 1200-1800. Bridal should be good today with light and variable winds aloft allowing for anabatic conditions to develop along the ridge line and strong thermal climbs. P2 pilots 1100-1200 and 1800-2000 with advanced P4 conditions 1200-1800. 90% paragliding chances.

3. Paragliding Whistler: -2.6C/1000ft intermediate peak lapse rate. Light NW wind aloft becoming light and variable by mid-day. Smooth and moderate thermal lift. Whistler Team P4 pilots 0900-2000. 90% chances for paragliding.

4. Paragliding Vancouver: -2.2C/1000ft novice peak lapse rate. Grouse for GMFT P4 advanced pilots 1000-2000. 90% paragliding chances.

5. Paragliding Bellingham: -2.1C/1000ft novice peak lapse rate. Blanchard for P2 pilots 0800-2000 Paragliding prospects 90%.

6. Paragliding Seattle: -2.1C/1000ft novice peak lapse rate. With NE to E wind aloft to 19 km/hr, watch for lee side conditions at Tiger. Paragliding not recommended today at Tiger.
