At iParaglide Top Gun Flight School, we take pride in having taught over 2,000 paragliding students in our 27 years of operation.

Due to our central location, we are the only school that flies all of the relevant kiting parks, training hills and mountains within a 3 hour radius of Vancouver. Vancouver, Chilliwack, Bellingham, Seattle, Whistler & Pemberton area paragliding weather forecast, based on data available at 0700.

Transitioning pressure with increasingly cloudy skies late in day.

YVR 3000 ft winds aloft SE to 17 km/hr. Valley flow morning gusty east outflow to 30 km/hr, rotoring in places to SW to 30 km/hr, easing and becoming S to 10 km/hr late in the afternoon Intermediate peak lapse rate -2.4 C/1000ft.

SEA 3000 ft winds aloft SW to 19 km/hr. Valley winds SSW to 16 km/hr. Intermediate peak lapse rate -2.4C/1000ft.

iParaglide Right Site Ranking:

1. Paragliding Seattle: -2.4C/1000ft intermediate peak lapse rate. Tiger summit in clouds until mid afternoon, forecast is for clearing skies thereafter. Tiger for P3 pilots 1400-2000. Chances to paraglide 60%.

Partial cloud to mostly cloudy, with low cloud base early, and pre-frontal conditions late in the day, make Pemberton, Vancouver, and Bellingham not recommended for paragliding today.

SE outflow aloft placing sites in lee-side, low cloud base till mid-afternoon and pre-frontal conditions makes Chilliwack not recommended for paragliding today.
