Top Gun Flight School

At iParaglide Top Gun Flight School, we take pride in having taught over 2,000 paragliding students in our 27 years of operation.

 

We are the longest running school based in Metro Vancouver. Due to our central location, we are the only school that flies all of the relevant kiting parks, training hills and mountains within a 3 hour radius of Vancouver.  This empowers pilots to get to know the key training and flying spots early, optimizes and accelerates learning, and allows them to grow into great future pilots.  

We have the reputation of being an industry leader with an emphasis on engineered safety systems, quality instruction, the finest equipment and creating a positive learning environment for fun and empowering flying.

We offer the highest level of accreditation, with Senior HPAC and Advanced USHPA paragliding instructors, who coach from first flight to expert paraglider pilots and teach and qualify new paragliding instructors.

Vancouver paragliding: winds aloft@3000ft West to 13 km/hr through 23:00 with valley winds light and variable. Seattle paragliding: winds aloft@3000ft light and variable through 22:00 with valley winds light and variable. Good day for paragliding.

1. Paragliding Chilliwack: lapse -2.0: novice.  P2 paragliding conditions Woodside 12:00-17:00.  Mixed sun and cloud. Chances: 80/20.

2. Paragliding Bellingham: lapse -1.9: novice. Blanchard: Novice paraglider pilots 11:00-17:00. Chances 80/20.

3. Paragliding Seattle: lapse -2.2: novice. P2 Novice paragliding 11:00-17:00.  Mixed sun and cloud. Chances 70/30. 

4. Paragliding Vancouver: lapse: -2.2: novice. 30% POP.  Grouse Mountain Flying team advanced paraglider pilots only.   Chances 60/40.

Paragliding in Vancouver, Chilliwack, Pemberton, Whistler, Bellingham and Seattle areas not recommended today.

Vancouver paragliding: winds aloft@3000ft West to 17 km/hr varying to NW at 9 km/hr through 23:00 with valley winds W to 10 km/hr. Seattle paragliding: winds aloft@3000ft light and variable through 22:00 with valley winds W to 10 km/hr. Good day for paragliding.

1. Paragliding Chelan: lapse -2.8C/1000ft: advanced. P2 novice paragliding 09:00-12:00 and 16:00-18:00 with P3 intermediate to P4 advanced paragliding conditions 12:00-16:00.  Chelan in the fall is epic, and the Chelan Halloween Fly-In a blast, enjoy!   Chances 90/10.

2. Paragliding Bellingham: lapse -2.3: intermediate. Blanchard: Novice paraglider pilots 10:00-18:00. Chances 90/10. 

3. Paragliding Vancouver: lapse: -2.5: intermediate. Grouse Mountain Flying team advanced paraglider pilots only.   Chances 80/20.
