iParaglide Right Site Weather: Sep 15

Vancouver, Chilliwack, Bellingham, Seattle, Whistler & Pemberton area paragliding weather forecast based on data available at 0600.

Low pressure with passing cold fronts with much instability including possible thunderstorms and hail.

YVR 3000 ft winds aloft SE 24 km/hr easing to S to 17 km/hr.  Valley wind outflow E to 15 km/hr.   Intermediate peak lapse rate -2.5C/1000ft.

SEA 3000 ft winds aloft SSW 24 km/hr increasing to 39 km/hr. valley winds S to 15 km/hr. Advanced peak lapse rate -2.7C/1000ft.

Paragliding is not recommended in Chilliwack, Pemberton, Vancouver, Whistler, Seattle or Bellingham today due to 70%-100% POP and potential for thunderstorms.
