iParaglide Right Site Paragliding Weather Feb.5, 2012

iParaglide Right Site Paragliding weather. High pressure with low to northwest brings mixed skies. Paragliding Vancouver: 3000ft winds aloft southeast to 17km/hr easing to light and variable as the day progress; valley winds east to 10 km/hr easing to light and variable in afternoon. Seattle Paragliding: 3000ft winds southeast to 13 km/hr through 22:00 with valley winds southeast to 15 km/hr. Outflow may be overpowered by anabatic conditions and seabreeze in late afternoon. A paragliding window is possible today in Bellingham and Chilliwack. 

iParaglide Right Site Ranking:

1. Paragliding Bellingham: lapse rate -1.1C/1000ft: novice P2.  Wait for catabatic conditions and outflow to be overpowered by seabreeze.  Blanchard 12:00-16:00 P2 novice paraglider pilots. Chances 80/20.

2. Chilliwack paragliding: lapse rate -1.7C/1000ft: novice P2. Wait for catabatic conditions and outflow to be overpowered by seabreeze.  Woodside 14:00-16:00 for P2 novice paragliding. Chances 60/40.
